Ok everyone knows that awp_map is really annoying cos of all the spawnkilling that takes place. Now we do want an awp only map on our server (and we need a good map for the upcoming AWP tourney).

So here is the proposition.. post here with what you think is the best awp map (WITH A DOWNLOAD LINK) and i will pick the best one.. Then Elite will (hopefully) remove awp_map off the server and replace it with the awp map of our choice.

Let me know what you want cos i dotn know of many awp maps.

This one has no spawn kill, and its got no spawnkill also..

:P k hope this one works..

note: this one has a POD (ping of death) bot's waypoints in it.. jus ignore it and only use the map thats included in the Zip file

He means best kind of awp_map.. not like another hundred exact same awp map.. and i dun think that language is appropriate?

since we're trying to make CS a cuss free gaming place.. lets start by not cussing here..

ty for the cooperation.. (although im not an admin.. which i dun care.. i strongly disagree in cussing..)

fyi flash and oxymoron is a noun, welcome to english class its 2 words that dont go together but have actually meaning, eg (ex gratia [latin]) hells angels, jumbo shrimp, central intelligence agency

can we cut the chat down plz.

Ok for the awp map i am looking for 3 main points.

1. A clearly defined barrier between the two people at the start to prevent spawnkills.
2. No other weapons or buying of weapons. Just awp + knife.
3. Preferably no wads or extra textures. just the bsp file.

I got the ones posted here so far and none seem to shout out amazingness. the awm_map one is good but it has a bunch of fiddly textures and sounds.
 
rizz have you checked awp_city i dont think there is a .wad file, there is no buy zone and no secondary weapon so you get an awp and a knife, and its really hard to spawn kill just b/c of the set up
 
rgr i need to check awp city with other people before i commit but it looks the best so far.
 
Ok guys same applies to soutmap.. let me know of the best scout maps out there with the same criteria as the awp map..
 
/stands next to myles and john totally confused on the cursing issue.

Agrees with Myles Awp_City is a good awp map they use it on fls if you want to try it out before playing it or using it on our server.
