If I were in a city of any size, I would grab my trumpet and go to a park or just a street corner and start playing. Leaving my case open next to me with a buck or two laying in it would be all the encouragement needed for tips. Just do not let much build up in it... I had the idea strolling Jackson Square in New Orleans one balmy day. Wonder why...
