Assassin or Ritualist Possibilities as Secondary Professions

Just imagine the possibilities of the assassin shadow arts attribute as a secondary for your characters. Let's take a monk for example...

Heart of Shadow - For 60 seconds, the next time you take damage you are healed for 47 health and Shadow Step to a nearby location.

Shadow Refuge - For 4 seconds, you have a 50% chance to evade attacks. When Shadow Refuge ends, you are healed for 78 health.

Shadow Step - For 13 seconds you move 25% faster than normal. When Shadow Step ends, you return to the location where you activated.
(This one could really get annoying to a warrior that is trying to pound on you...lol)

Viper's Defense - For 30 seconds, the next time you are struck, you teleport to a random location nearby. The foe who struck you is poisoned for 13 seconds.
(And this one could get extremely annoying to a warrior trying to pound you. Everytime he hits you, you teleport somewhere....and he's poisoned! ROFL)

These would be extremely useful in PVP for a Monk/Assassin if you find yourself the object of a warrior's hammer.

What other combinations can find that may be worth trying out?

I'm personally eyeing the ritualist as a secondary profession for my warrior.
wanna use weapon spells like:

Wailing Weapon For 5..10 seconds, target ally has a Wailing Weapon. Whenever the Wailing Weapon strikes an attacking foe, that foe is interrupted.

Brutal Weapon Give target ally a Brutal Weapon for 5-17 seconds. The bearer's weapon strikes for +5-+13 damage as long as the bearer is under no Enchantments.

Guided Weapon For 5...10 seconds, target ally's attack skills ignore Blindness and cannot be "blocked" or "evaded".

Weapon of Warding For 5...10 seconds, target ally has a Weapon of Warding that grants target ally +2...4 Health regeneration and a 50% chance to block.

Weapon of Shadow For 4...9 seconds, target ally has a Weapon of Shadow. Whenever that ally is struck by an attack, that ally's attacker becomes Blinded for 3 seconds.
(this could be really good for my ViM build)

Vengeful Weapon For 8 seconds, the next time target ally takes damage from foe, that ally steals up to 15...47 Health from that foe.

Resilient Weapon For 5...17 seconds, target ally has a Resilient Weapon. While suffering from a Hex or Condition, that ally gains +1...5 Health regeneration and +24 armor.

my particular favorite is Brutal Weapon and Wailing Weapon.
 
Those all sound like a good ideas i was thinking of making a E/A and use shadow skills to get in there nuke and get back out.

I havent come up with any other ideas the ones you guys listed sound pretty neat.
 
Wow Astro, I really like that monk built. I love to play monk in Pvp so I thin kI might do something like that....
 
I thought about doing a secondary, but really, I want something different to look at!

I played Rt/Me for both pre-release events, simply because I know Mesmer best of all the classes, meaning I didn't have to think about the secondary stuff. I haven't decided which secondary I will actually take for my real character.

I like the Rit's damage-dealing communing abilities. The various one using the remains were nice because you could cast it out of range, run into range, and then drop the item, rather than cast while in range.
