As promised...

rgr it is... 7 to be exact..

Heres an update..

1. Did a little "conservative rewiring" on the fan system. Replaced 3 of the thermaltake fans with 3 blue LED akasa fans (34cfm). Plugged all fans directly into the PSU for max airflow. (reduced cpu temp by 15 degrees C). Cut all the wires from the temp control box except the power so i can still read the cpu temp.

2. Ordered some blue rounded IDE cables. Couldnt afford the neon one ($20 each whats that about..) but was like $3 for a blue one. Hopefully that will tidy the front up.

3. Bidding on a 850mb HDD on ebay for $1..lol. When i win it tonight it will act as a swap file for photoshop 7 and increase working speed of ps7 by about 50%.

4. Set the cpu clocking to "aggressive" on the mobo.. It still registers very slow uing xp tho, im gonna get some tweakies.

5. Booked a haircut..lol
 
hm, rizz, if I lived near you, I'd be over there tweaking your bios. but alas, I am not.

rizz - I find that in some cases (pun-errific!), flat IDE cables are actually easier to work with because you can tuck them away in places. also, for the power cables, if you twist them, their size reduces considerably.

man, I feel for you. I've heard *two* thermaltake fans in the same room before, I can't believe you can put up with 7. buy some Panaflo fans, man!

O and I got free of Windows XP! gosh i had so many dumb problems that i gave up and came bak to Win 2k! w00t! it feels more light now and im ready to kick anyone's butt in CS!

Morph i wish i knew what i was doin with my bios but i managed to set up the second HDD and sort out my cpu so it reads correctly.

It look smighty funky with the blue round ide cables.. just need to find about 50000 cable ties now...

And my hair looks better when its not just washed like it is there.. i am the king of fluffy hair

*looks at the specs of Rizz' computer* Rizz, your setup looks pretty nice...I'm partial to p4's, but the 9800 Pro is a great touch as is the Corsair ram (great ram).
 
i woulda gone p4 but i specced out a amd 3000+ with amorphus and that spanked the p4 which was out at the time. Then the p4 800mhz fsb and the amd 3200+ came out. I was too lazy to sort out a new mobo and stuff.
