Article: Hands off Christmas says British religious minority leaders

I don't know why Muslims would object to Christmas in the first place as it is a celebration of Christ's birth. They believe in Jesus as far as he was conceived in a miracle and was a prophet. What they don't believe in is he is God or that he died on the cross for our sins, so if anything they would have a problem with Easter not Christmas. Obviously the push against Christmas must come from a secular, humanistic or atheistic source.

The reason Muslims are so against us is that the Koran says to convert all non-believers..by force if needed.

I know. My point was there are some things that Muslims and Christians do have in common. While they don't celebrate Christmas there is really no reason for Muslims to object to the celebration of Christmas because we can agree as far as Christ's miracle conception and birth actually occurred. Very simply put Islam views Christianity and Judaism as people who had the testimony of God, but, perverted it (we know the opposite to be true) thus there remain a few scant things we can agree on. Unlike for example "Buddhism" which takes nothing from any of the other religions I've listed. Given that the source or drive behind the people who want to kill Christmas comes not from the second most populous religion in Britain, but, from worldly, secular, atheistic and/or humanistic people. I realize the Muslims want to forcibly convert everyone or kill you, but, I fear the humanistic people more. Man has never wanted to worship the devil it was always about empowering or worshiping self. The devil was a means to that end and in the people who hold the power of the human race highest that evil pursuit becomes pure. I fear them more because few address them as a threat, unlike the Muslims who are addressed, while all along they (the Humanistic people) gain more and more power in the name of unity and peace... and though peace will he destroy many.

It's not that other religions object. It is that liberals use any excuse they can to kill off conservative power.

Conservatives are not necessarily Christian, and Christians are not necessarily conservative.

I think this is a great story, by the way.

I like this story. :)

Athough... I wonder sometimes if Christians would exert the same courtesy to other religions. ::ducks to avoid tomatoes::

And I agree with the Gerbil... other religions aren't a threat as much as humanistic people are. They make such a big deal out of not worshiping any God... while basically worshiping themselves. It's a wolf-in-sheeps'-clothing situation if you will.
