I'd like to know how many people are still playing as it is among the games I am considering getting due to Steam's sale. The only attraction for me playing this game is to play with you guys so please vote honestly not "sure Gerbil come play with us" when you are getting bored of the game. I am also considering other games so I may not get it even if you guys are playing it. Thank you.

Alas, I long for an update. I heard on Kotaku that they will have the other 2 Versus maps up and running, and possibly more new maps very soon. But it's not my top priority for gaming at the moment.

I finished all 4 campaigns (3 on Advanced, 1 on Normal).

I don't plan to finish a campaign on Expert (too frustrating).

I've played through both Versus campaigns several times now. I've recently stopped taking Versus mode so seriously, even going so far as to call Left 4 Dead Versus the "Mario Kart Wii" of first-person shooters. (For those not familiar with Mario Kart Wii, MKWii and L4D are both too random to be considered a true test of skill.) As long as I don't take the game too seriously, I tend to have a good time.

My decision whether to play Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead usually depends on what other ToJ members are playing. If more are playing L4D, I'll play that. If more are playing TF2, I'll try to round up a few and get the ToJ TF2 server hoppin'.

I'll also opt for L4D if I don't feel like spamming half my Steam Friends list in an (often vain) attempt to gather people on the ToJ TF2 server.

Once the next TF2 update drops, I think we'll see players swarm back to TF2--at least until Valve releases an update for L4D.

Oy, we first-person shooter players sure are fickle people, aren't we?

EDIT: I think I'll be playing TF2 far longer than I'll be playing L4D, but it's too early to tell. I think TF2 has much greater lasting power.

I feel that you can't survive on one fps alone, sure we did it with CS specially in the betas (yes I was in and do fondly remember CS before it went retail) but now with so many different options of fps to choose it's hard. But for zombie slaying L4D is in my humble opinion top dog and will say there for some time to come. I don't regreat paying full price for the game as I still have fun with every run thru I do

I'm thinking about it, especially the 4 pack.

I am a Zombie fanatic for shooters.

But, I've played this before.

If I don't get it by Jan 2, I ain't getting it at all.

Well, I got it, and enjoy it a lot.

Though, few of my achievements shouldn't of added when I'm DEAD.

Like I beat a campaign level, after I was getting punched on the ground by tons of zombies and a Tank.
I never made it to the boat and yet, I finished. :(

QFT. My wife and I play Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles on the Wii together.

Unless, of course, you let your spouse get eaten by zombies and s/he blames you.. "I can't believe you let me get eaten by zombies!"

Or if they were the infected.

"Nice job, honey. You teared that guy to shreds."

"Thanks, sweetheart."

If you're having trouble finding people to play L4D with, be sure to visit the Tribe of Judah Steam Community page and add some of our L4D-playing members to your Friends list.

When I got on last night at 11 p.m., 14 people on my Friends list were playing L4D--and every single game they were in was full.
