I've started WoW now and have my brother on it as well. I am a lvl 4 rogue(just started, cut me some slack) and my brother is a lvl 9 Hunter. What server are you guys on and what are your names just so I can add you to my friends list.
 
The official "toj" server is illidan. Once you log on...seek out "Russel" or "Melko" and they will invite you to the guild. Then, you don't need to add us to your friends list, we will be located in your "Guild" members list. Much easier that way...wouldn't you say?
 
Yeah, it is. I didn't know you had the guild started again already.

SInce I'm a newb, I have a question. How do you change servers, while keeping your same character?

It takes only about two hours to get to level 10. You can get to level 5 easy in the newbie area, just by completing all the quests there. The remaining 5 levels take a little while longer to get, but are easily gained at the next town.
 
I started a new character on the Illidan server but I'll try to train him up. The name is Rithkil
