Anybody watch "MythBusters" on the Discovery Channel?

I've just started watching the show, and it's smashing fun. It's fascinating watching Jamie, Adam, and the rest attempt to debunk various myths. Some of their results are hilarious (and the quest to obliterate a cement truck with 850 lbs. of quarry clearing explosives when it held no direct significance to the myth at hand was awesome).

I was thinking about picking up season one on DVD, as I haven't seen any of those episodes. Is it good stuff?
 
good stuff indeed, Ive been catching episodes here and there since it started too.
The cement truck one was crazy, I couldn't believe how the explosives literally made a huge cement truck disappear. I still remember the side whale story also. That was pretty funny.
 
I also want to buy season one and two... I have watched all of season one, and bits of two. I love it.

Yeah, but last time I checked, season one was 50 dollars, where as season two was 100 dollars. That's insanity.
 
I watch it too. Reminds me of highschool... Adam is exactly like one of my friends. Constantly doing stupid things like putting your lip in a vacum cleaner motor.

It's a great show. Once they stopped airing the original Junkyard Wars, mythbusters definitely took over on my list. My favorite has to be their debunking of Archimedes's boat-scorching mirror weapon :-p
