Any BSG fans?

I just finished watching Season 3, and dudes I'm completely lost.

What's up with Starbuck?

Who is the 5th of the five? I thought Starbuck was one, but now she's going all Yoda on us.

And what's with the Hendrix?!?!?! Does Jimi exist in this alternate reality?

HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Season four starts this Friday night.

All will (I hope) be answered soon.

On a related note, I can't say I'm a fan of BSG, but only because the first half of season 3 was so weak. Up until the end of season 2, I had been watching the series with my wife. She decided to drop the series after the first half of season 3...and I can't say I blame her.

Still, the second half of season 3 was much better than the first half.

And, by the way, Hendrix wasn't the first to play All Along the Watchtower.

Pfft. Kids these days. :p

I'm eagerly awaiting for the new season, one of my favorite shows these days. I actually like the first half of season 3 more then the second half (Excluding the finale), the two part Exodus episodes were amazing. I think when the Pegasus comes to save the day that is quite possibly the best space battle ever put on film. Then the second half dragged on with a bunch of non connected stand alone episodes.

I'm just hoping they don't pull something like the original show and end up on Earth in the 80's.

I agree with the slow parts. I don't like the episodes they have to obviously drag the show out to be a standard season long. The boxing episode comes to mind...

I say Hendrix because that's who's song I had. Bob Dylan was the first. Am I right?! Am I right?! Do I win music trivia?!

Identifying All Along the Watchtower as Dylan's work isn't so much "winning music trivia" as it is "having a reasonable grasp on common music knowledge."

If there was a college class on 20th century music (and if there isn't, there should be), Dylan would be on the list of required listening.

EDIT: But I'm still glad to see younger members of the community aware of at least the basics of 20th century music. I hear so much vomit rock (where the lead "singer" sounds as though he decided to bring a microphone along as he bows before the porcelain throne), mindless pop songs about infatuation masquerading as love, and so-called artists "rapping about money, hoes, and rims again" on the radio that every person under 20 who even knows who Dylan is is a welcome relief.

I have last night's episode queued up in my BitTorrent client.

I'll try to remember to post again after I download it (which may be a while, since my connection is a craptacular 768K) and watch it.

I watched it last night, and it was pretty good.

I no longer think Starbuck is the 5th cylon. It's not a large enough plot twist. It can't be Baltar either -- to obvious a choice. What other main characters do we have though? My best bet is on the President. That would lead to great conflict and some good TV!

I think this season will be good. I lost track awhile back but this week they had the newer episodes playing while I was sick (only good part of the week).

I think they were revealed by the song sidetrack that revealed they were cylons.
