Annoying creeper spawn rate

Hello

I have not experienced a so high spawn rate of creepers in single player or servers before, so I wonder if it is manually adjusted to be higher. And they dont destroy blocks when they explode, so what is the use of it? I prefer a normal spawn rate with blocks getting destroyed (the vanilla settings)

None of the spawn rates have been modified. Everything is vanilla for mobs except for the EliteMobs bosses which use Citizens.
