Pardon the pun in the title.

I love the graphics and character creation system of this game but I hit a leveling impasse that was compounded by the quest issues at my level.

I wish you all the best and I think you for having me.

I will donate all the game money I have to the guild to help you guys get to level 3. Been a pleasure playing with you guys, and I must say I did agonize over this because I love playing with Ben and Mel.

I also know that it is a great game just needs some work so that people do not run out of quests before the level out of the next level. (This was frustrating to me) I don’t like grinding on mobs I am much more of a quest player. (Did all my grinding on EQ)

Hey Brother, it was good to see you again in game. A bunch of us all rolled alts last night to play with some of the new players. Would love to group with you and have some fun. The grind certainly does not seem as bad when you are in a group. Alas, the game is grindy at its core so if that is frustrating, it is probably not the right fit in the end.

Take care and you are always welcome back if you don't find anything else to play. :)

Grindy is fine but when you dont have enough quests to get you up to the next level, that just seemed odd to me.

I will get on later and send you the remaining game gold I had saved up from the auction house. and may try to make more for you by selling the stuff in my bank.

I know the feeling of running out of quests and I've had to grind a bit to get to the
next level. If you need help finding more quests, let us know, I'm pretty sure
we can get ya going in the right direction.

I do hear that people are running out of quests at certain points. I think that is why this next patch increases quest XP all across the boards. This should help you hit the next level sooner so you can unlock the next quests. I noticed that in some areas they dump a ton of repeatable quests. Kinda boring but getting quest XP+ kinah+ mob kill xp is really great.

One thing that helped me was sorting the quests by list on the armory. http://www.aionarmory.com/search.aspx?browse=4#quests:50+1

I did this a few times and noticed whole piles of quests in an area I had missed for my level. There are lots of little quest-hub-camps out in places you might have missed.

Personally I have not yet run out of quests to lvl 28 but I do try to kill every mob I see on the way from quest to quest in stead of avoiding them. When I gather I usually kill a lot as well. All that mob xp adds up fast and often I was actually out leveling quests and doing them while they were gray.

Anyways, thanks so much for donating to us, that is awesome!

Ya, next patch is supposed to help with that. Though I have gotten low, I don't think I've ever run out of quests. That was at lvl 24 an 29. But I also spent time helping others with their stuff.

Hope you decide to stay but if you don't; thank you for the donation.

At what lvl did you run out of quests? and more importantly , did you solo the whole way with the exception of the krall quests? If you solo there is a good chance of never running out of quests,, if you group, there is a great chance you will run out and have to grind to get the next lvl.

Tha's true - hubby and I did run out of quests in certain areas. We grinded on the water spirits and such at level 17 to get us to 18 so we could take the next level of quests (the arrows were whited out) so I can understand totally where you are coming from. If a player is looking for non-stop quests, probably not a good game for them. However, if you grind with others, it can be fun. I wish we had not gone out of town when we did, perhaps we could have grouped some and tried to see if the grind was not as bad that way.

By the by, thanks for giving it a shot. I hope we'll get to play together again sometime...

We'll see you around I'm sure :)
Mel
