This is cool. I picked a nice spot away from everyone, dug a hole straight down, and ended up right next to THREE cave spider spawners. Then there is a dungeon with a zombie spawner about twenty blocks away.

Experience, anyone? :)
 
glad your haveing fun!! i heard u can take a potion and pick up spawners and set them back down. they say it then turns into a pig spawner.
 
The "silk touch" enchantment can make spawners drop. It's an "oops" so don't plan on it working in the next version. :D I haven't tried it (I haven't gotten that enchantment yet).

I've been playing lots of 1.9pre4 on single-player, but miss the other people, so I hopped on.

So, that brings up... where is everyone on Anchor's server? I'm to the west of spawn, just before the crazy spires and floating ledges biome. I'm in a small chasm.

I saw the two NPC towns near spawn. Someone mentioned a city, though? Where's that?
 
I may or may not be in a secret base under a mentioned NPC town taking advantage of a massive dungeon like cave.
 
I'm sure many people appreciate the opportunity to play multiplayer on a server with the latest release. Even though it was up for a short time, you gave people some fun and joy, and for that, we thank you. :D
