Alternative to "Cliff's Hardware mouse fix"

It's called Windower XIV.

I find it more useful, because you don't have to wait for cliff to release a new exe file everytime open beta ffxiv releases a new client patch.

Perhaps 4 more days left to use this, because retail is stated to have hardware mouse capabilities.

I totally forgot that this tool will also allow you to play in a emulated fullscreen mode with the window mode option. Therefore you can alt-tab out of the game to reach your desktop while still have the game running in the background. Therefore if the author continues to write this program to work for retail, it can still prove to be a nice tool to have.

Yeah, I saw this program on a few different forums...but I play in windowed mode with a gamepad...so I never looked into it...but still a nice program...
