Alliance Announcement

Spirit of Elijah has been, since it's formation in February of '05, one of the (if not the) largest Christian guilds in GW. In my opinion, we have been one of the most successful as well. With 56 separate members active on GW within just the last 48 hours, we are uniquely positioned to bring our guild to the next level.

I believe that with the release of Factions, that next level is to lead an alliance of Christian guilds. I have already contacted the leaders of several guilds in regards to a possible alliance.

Wouldn't it be great to be able to have a network of guilds to call upon when we need that elusive protection monk to fill out a PvP build?

Wouldn't it be great to get help from other believers for that quest you need when guildies aren't available?

Wouldn't it be great to be able to help other believers accomplish their goals?

I am very excited about the idea of networking with other Christian guilds! I hope though that as we reach out beyond our guild we will not lose our focus on serving our own members. Our officers have made such a strong effort to infuse our guild with a welcoming, encouraging Christian spirit, and I think this is responsible for the high level of participation across the board. I doubt there are many other guilds (even Christian ones) that so quickly rally to help its members out, or whose officers and leaders work so hard to reach out to all members regardless of age or ability. How often has Dredd headed up a guild party to help someone with a quest/mission/skill cap, or encouraged a new member to join us in a Guild event? How often has Halonic helped someone find what they need or given away valuable stuff to help guildies? To me, this is the true spirit of our guild - the love of Christ demonstrated through helping each other.
