I've been informed by Redeemed officers that there are allegations accusing me of forcibly removing Avesther from the Head Raid Coordinator position. These accusations are false. I did not forcibly remove Avesther from the Head Raid Coordinator position. I did not tell him to step down.

I did speak with Avesther privately regarding my concerns about some of his recent forum posts. I spoke from my heart, and I did not speak in anger.

When he was faced with the difficult decision of following his wife to another guild or remaining with Redeemed, Avesther chose to follow Goblit, and I respect that decision, as do WoW chapter staff members.

Avesther devoted a great deal of time and energy during his time as former Guild Leader and Head Raid Coordinator. He should be remembered for his service and his love for Redeemed.

With all due respect,

I think we are blowing this way out of proportion...

Avesther and Goblit were very good people, great contributors and leaders. They decided for themselves to leave. We should respect their decision and leave it at that.

After a few goodbye threads, there should be no more need for other topics regarding for why they left.

If there are w/e rumors going around about the circumstances in which they left in, those should be addressed...less publicly.

Stop beating the dead horse.

This is of course, in my opinion.

I hear you Yucke, but this was needed. Tek needed to make an official post because there are 2 sides to this story and only 1 is being told in game currently. Many did not hear Tek's side and this is a decent way of letting them know. But, yes lets try to move on. Regardless of how it looks, no one is an enemy here. We are all people who are loved by God.

It should be noted that I have not perpetuated either side of the story. I've said what I have to say in my goodbye thread and have not and will not discuss it any further, private or othewise.

Probably like you were beating a horse because it was not giving you a ride, then you beat it so much you killed it, but it is still not doing what you want so you continue to beat it. Someone says, "dude stop beating a dead horse. get over it! Its not gonna give you a ride"....

GoEnglish.com has a good definition of the idiom "beating a dead horse" here.

In an effort to give this particular horse a decent burial and rest, this thread is closed.
