Aliens

I definately suggest you read Sitchin if you haven't already.

As far as dimensions go, I understand the first five dimensions to be as follows:

1. X axis
2. Y axis
3. X axis, or depth, 3d
4. Time
5. Space and Time

What's your take on Ezekiel's Wheel and the biblical description of Cherubim?

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." - Genesis 1:1

Note the lack of a plural form. I can only rely on what is written, but if the form of "earth" is truly singular then why would we have any reason to believe there are other earth-like planets out there?

"Then God said, 'Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.' So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." - Genesis 1: 26-27

God made man in His image. So if there were aliens, they'd look the same as us would they not? God created Adam and fellowshipped with him. There are no aliens or other beings like us. We were God's creation.

Considering that the bible was supposedly written for Man, earthly man, it's not suprising that the opening verse only concentrates on the inhabitants of this planet. The bible doesn't explain any of the sciences: chemistry, geology, physics, etc, so why should it include astronomy?
