After the internet was turned back on...

My dad has now decided that he is disappointed in the internet service and is going to have it shut off. I can't say I blame him though. I wasn't able to pay my half of it. Anyway I may be gone a while. Just thought I put that out there.
 
Friend of mine made a nice extension cord for the wireless PCI card I gave him. It has some sort of concentrator (copper i think) on top so he can pick up WiFi signals from far away. He is currently using the library internet.


He lives like 10 blocks away from the library.
 
Buy a wireless card with an antenna input, and you can do the same thing... However, more than not there is a free dial up provider somewhere around you... Do you attend a collage, most collages offer a untold free dial up, that you have to ask about... Dial up is not the end of the world...I used it for 7 years, even to play WoW, plus my bro (Gohom) uses it all the time, he has to, high speed is not available in his area...
