A Good Read

just finished "The Cross And The Switchblade" by David Wilkerson
great story about a preacher who GOD called into a dangerous high crime/gang area
to preach the Gospel.

if you get a chance..it's worth the reading

Waynos I have to agree, a very good book, I last read it about 35 years ago, the ongoing ministry is still very effective.

Yes, great book.

There are a bunch of recordings of his preaching at http://www.sermonindex.net/, and I've been blessed by many of them. There are recordings of sermons by other preachers there too that are well worth listening to.

That was one of the books I had to read in grade school.. It was definitely a great book!

I haven't read it yet, would love too soon though. I did watch the movie on netflix a couple years ago shortly after coming to the Lord.

I haven't read that book in such a long time....I may need to go buy a new copy since I lost my old one.
