This is indeed a call to arms for those who remember WHO THEY ARE!! Who still wish to LIVE THEIR LIVES IN CHRIST! AWAKEN AND REPENT, FOR YOU ARE SERVING THE WRONG MASTER!!!!

It amazes me how truly backslidden are those who read forums such as these, and how treacherous are those who "lead" them, claiming to do so in the name of King Jesus. The Time of our LORD is near, and it is YOUR time to pry your eyes away from the monitor and meet the Eyes of your LORD!

Look at yourself indulging in the worst of sins, whiling away the time that should be LORD's time in front of a computer! Do you spend it glorifying King Jesus? Perhaps looking for the olde, thought-provoking works of old? Reaching out to those who are stuck in the bough of eternal DAMNATION?

NO.

You instead worship the satanick idols that come in forms of compact disks. You drench yourself in pornography and bodily fluids of Satan's angels who have already prepared a place in HELL for you! You deceive yourself by thinking that LORD won't hold you accountable for the demonick worship you do EVERY DAY!

And you, those who publish treacherous sites like these. You review the FILTH and lull your visitors into the sense of complacency. You write a page about the "graphics" and "sounds" of a game and then a mere PARAGRAPH on dangers a that Christian faces when playing it! Even if you aren't consciously subscribing to Devil's works, you're still serving your new daddy!

As an example, look at your own review of the satanick game "Morrowind"! You gave it a score of 83%! You mention only a FRACTION of pornography and satanism that this game drenches you in! The pantheon of false "gods"! The "daedra" who are nothing but DAEMONS!! The MAGICK and SERVITUDE OF THE DEVIL!

AWAKEN! Shut down your blasphemous website. Repent on your knees, and ask the LORD for forgiveness. Spend not HOURS but DAYS in thought and prayer so that you may be forgiven. Ask the Father to take you back into the fold! Cleanse your mind AND your hard drive of SATANICK FILTH before it is too late!!

Morrowind got a high score because of it great gaphics and sound and good story. It scored low on the appropriateness for the drugs, alcohol, sexual situations and religion systems in place.

Well, lets see here. This guy is basically saying that we are wrong because we use computers. Saying that all it brings is pronography. Then condeming us with his generalized opinion. Well, now all I have to say is, why is this guy even using a computer if he believes this? If he says computers are so "demonic" then why does he even own one? I really dont' get it. If you had any decency , you might have actually contacted one or more of the admins here with a legitimate concern and perhaps discuss it with one of them or all of them, which wouldve been the proper way to make your concerns known, but that wouldve taken some tact on your part, some of which you seem to be lacking.

Maybe you should remember. It means to live a life reaching for eternity in God, and sharing that with others. You think we are lost in this world of gaming, but you forget that we are here for those that truly ARE lost. If we all left our lives wherever we are and huddled in the church to ourselves, would anyone get saved? We are not of the world but we are in it, and this is OUR mission, to reach the lost. Here, in the gaming community, we do our work. And God is with us.

Actually, your talk just inspired me to go play some Baldur's Gate...I play as the son (or daughter) of the Lord of Murder, Bhaal. My brother seeks to slay me. Can I resist his ways? Am I lured to slay the innocent, or be the protector of the world? Whom do I serve? Bhaal or another deity?

Let's take a step back here dude. Morrowind deserved its ratings (hardly an 83% guys.....there's no freaking plot! You make your own story basically...that sucks!). Quake III may #### you to hell, but hey, at least you had fun, right? Personally, I can look past the pentagrams and concentrate on the fun of the game: killing my enemies in a variety of graphically entertaining ways, from splattering their interior organs across the floor to watching their blood drip down the air like a curtain! Wow! How much better can you get? I love this game! And Half-Life! What a story!

These games are fun. I recommend you loosen that white collar, sit down, go online, and commence some thorough camping with a railgun and beat the crud out of us...if you can, Preacherman.

If Jesus walked in right now, well, I'd be in heaven right now. Sorry to tell you that. I hope videogames are allowed in heaven. That would be great! Maybe God could commence to take up a Vadrigar and just see if he can beat me! Heheheh.

sorry Ultima I don't agree with what you're typing, if I was in the middle of a game and Jesus showed up..I'd stop playing instead of inviting him to help.

Either case one case in point that there are many games that I won't allow a kid to play..so in essense why should I?

Granted I am working on following that rule better but I got some work to do in that respect.

forgives he forgets. My name is in that book. I made a commitment to him

I do not condone porn or occult in any form, even in game hence why I
started CCGR to mention things the ESRB doesn't. If a game is occultish I
stop, simple enough that's the line I draw.

I'm sure everyone here understands that PreacherMan does not speak for God and that his approach is not only inappropriate but lacking in the presence of Christ.

People like him (I've seen too many in my life) think that they by acting like a prophet, by speaking key phrases and such, that they can sound like they are speaking the truth.

In fact, they are deceived, speaking deception and seeking to destroy what God has given life to. To me, PreacherMan is symptomatic of a kind of Christian who likes to wrap themselves in the mantle of Christ in order to excuse un-Christ-like behavior.

Unfortunately, they end up speaking lies, deceiving others and attempt to destroy. This sounds like the devil's tactics to me. To me PreacherMan is a transparent, and his old man has come to roost on self-righteous condemnatory spouting of hateful words.

May Christ forgive him his ignorance and may the Holy Spirit convict him of his missguided anger.

But, in the end I suggest that everyone here simply shun him and ban him from the boards. His kind only destroy in the end. His kind bring Shame to the name of Christ. He is a fool; not a fool for Christ but a fool who uses Christ to justify his foolishness.

If this seems overly harsh, please forgive me. I've had dealings too often in the past with other so called PreacherMan's. Unlike him, I don't speak from ignorance, but from a sadness that is founded on the pain of people like him.

Well Cheryl, sorry. I wouldn't let a child play certain games, understood, mainly because he isn't ready for some games. They can grow up on Mario until they're ready for more realistic and deeper games than jumping on turtles...take The Matrix. Would you really sit your five year-old and let him watch that? Hardly. You'd wait until he's older, able to handle violence without acting it out, as it is on the boob tube, and give his mind time enough to mentally prepare for the ideas The Matrix shares...does that mean you won't watch it? You're ready, you may like it...but the kid ain't, and he might, but in a different manner than you or I.

Same with God. I'm sure he doesn't mind the games we play so long as we don't get TOO obsessed with them...like GTA. I don't think He'd approve of that as much as He would, say, Quake III. Differences in story, and one's not trying to put you in the shoes of a mobster.

Yeah I kinda noticed the whole Bhaal-Baal thing...but also understand this: he IS the Lord of Murder, after all, and it IS the Forgotten Realms, too. It's a pure fantasy world, of elves and dragons and gods and the arts magica and many more.

ALSO Morrowind doesn't contain porn in the sense some might think...skimpy outfits? Maybe. Porn? Hardly.
