be interesting to see XP work in that enviroment.

xp professional is limited to two physical cores and two logical cores(aka HT) so in that 8 core box it wil take advantage of the first two..IIRC.

good ol' apple....it's not an 8 core machine...it's a dual quad core. what's more....don't price check it with a dodgy heart.

yeah but go to dell.com and try to build a Precision 690 dual quad core with comparable specs and it come out more $$.

I am a MS Professional and Dell Certified tech, but the truth hurts sometimes...

Oh yeah, and the MacPro just looks SOOOO much cooler!

mini mac with maxed ram is the best expirimental tool for mac. i enjoy mine
