7 units I almost never make with my race....

Do you guys have any units that you just about never make in the game? As a terran player, you will almost NEVER see me make

1.Ghosts

2.Thors

3.Hellions

4.Battle crusier (Unless late game in tvt and i have like 4 expansions or more)

5.Raven

6.Reapers

7.Banshee

That's a lot of units I realized. The bioball usually supported with medivacs, siege tanks, and vikings is really all you need most of the time.

The only Protoss units I never use are the Carrier the Archon and the Mothership. Just about every other unit has some use. I think the difference is Terran can go Bioball in 90% of match ups and do decently where as Toss has to vary it up to stay competitive.

I know your quite good but I saw some really good Ghost usage in the beta. Not sure why they have fallen out of favor but against Protoss they cut an army in half and nullify high templars. Reapers can be good for harassment early and I've even seen a few sneak into a base while a larger battle is going on and end the game before the player noticed what happened.

I build queens, zerglings, and mutalisks. If I'm playing against Protoss and they're pumping out mass zealots before I can make the transition to air, I build Roaches. If I survive long enough and I need better anti-air than mutalisks, I'll build corruptors. On rare occasions, I'll have the opportunity to build Brood Lords. I usually build overseers against Protoss and Terran, but only for cloaked unit detection.

That's...pretty much it.

I stopped building hydralisks after the 14th or 15th time they got shredded by Terran and Protoss units of the same tier.

I don't bother with ultralisks because if I've made it that fair up the tech tree, I'd rather use Brood Lords.

I don't have the mad micro skillz to do much damage with banelings.

While neural parasite is awesome, I tend not to build infestors because they're so fragile and also require mad micro skillz to get a return on your investment. I'd like to learn to use fungal growth effectively, though.

I don't bother with infested marines or changelings on most occasions.

In short, the only two non-worker and non-supply units I build in most games are zerglings and mutalisks. If I build anything else, I usually regret it unless I'm already winning by a fair margin.

Does anyone build Motherships? Carriers are pointless in comparison to Void Rays, and the only time I would build High Templar would be vs Zerg, so no point of Archon there.
Dark Templar are rare, but still occasionally used to brutal effect -mostly against Terran and the protoss who don't put cannons on seemingly every square inch of their base as some players occasionally tend to do...

Protoss are really meant to be played with the vast majority of units at their disposal.

And yeah, I am really surprised I haven't seen more Ghost usage so far. It would seem they'd be on par with DTs for harassment.

I usually never build Carriers because VR's seem to be more effective and cheaper.

The mothership is fun, but I usually never build it.

I usually never build the templars unless I want to really own someone and they don't have sensors up XD.

I just did a test run with Archons vs. a very easy computer. They are completely useless. They don't deal insane amounts of damage, they are expensive and take up too much space in Warp Prisms. Useless.

Heres the replay:

I've built motherships three times. Once vs Tek in beta (got infested :P), and twice in team play. The other two times aerial forces utterly dominated the thing. Its not like they'd shoot at anything else even if it were visible.
