<3 indie games

Humble Indie Bundle for Android #3 is live. I bought 2 copies (one "beat the average edition" for me, one "cheapskate edition" for my wife) earlier today.

Adventures of Shuggy is $2.49 today! I recommended AoS back in July shortly after its release.

And for those who are especially frugal, you can download and play the Adventures of Shuggy demo here.

Steam Greenlight is live!

I've started a list of my own Greenlight recommendations here. I'll try to set aside a few minutes here and there to browse new submissions and recommend those I've played before and enjoyed or I think look promising.

Massachusetts will honor its indie developers and its game industry heritage tomorrow in a way no other states has -- it has declared September 22 as Independent Game Development Day.

It's not an informal declaration without weight to it, either -- Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick made the state-wide day official with a proclamation, and said, " urge all citizens of the Commonwealth to take cognizance of this event and participate fittingly in its observance. "

I don't live in Massachusetts, but I'll gladly show my support of their official indie game development day tomorrow by playing any of the many indie games I <3 and recommend so often to others.

...And now I want to visit Boston more than ever.
