1. is it just me or is it realyl dead around here???
2. im really confused, outpost only has 2 diff kind of copper cpu heatsinks/fans shown here however, i thought i copper was suppose to be the best?btw i can only shop at actually stores and cant order online, i have bestbuy, staples, office depot and frys/outpost around

As an answer to #1 it's almosy 2:30 AM most people are sleeping, except for us dedicated few. :D

Don't know nothing about anything in #2.

So, whats your question?

Using a Fan/Heatsinks other than copper, I don't think having it made into plastic or rubber would be right...

Does anyone agree/disagree that Fan/Heatsinks should have more effective materials than copper? Titanium? Kevlar? :D
 
but if so, then wouldt it be more expensive and/or have more products prone to higher heat? if u look at the products on outpost they are only rated for p3's. nothing for my amd athlon....
 
Copper is widely used because it's cheap, not expensive.. Like HSC said, it's high conductivity serves as best in heat sink.
