As promised:
If a friend sends you a guest key then it does not expire as we do not set them up that way. When creating a guest account, it is required that you enter a credit card as it is used for verification of the account that is being set up. As far as I am aware, there are no restrictions against joining a guild when you are on a trial account. The trial client from Fileplanet will work as it is just a simple download of the game that you need to get started.

I just got the game, and I found the code for a 10 day guest pass inside. If you still need one pm me and I''l give it to you. The little sheet of paper that it came on didn't have many details so there's a possibility that you might need a credit card, but I doubt it. Obviously I wouldn't be able to just give you the cds but you can install it with the client from the 10 trial promotion. Let me know.

I also PM'd Hawk and CGamer asking if they still had their invites. Hawk said that he doesn't (:() and CGamer hasn't replied yet.

Oh by the way.. Tek the name Tek is taken and he is good.
 
Tek doesn't normally take Tek in MMORPG, at least he didn't in the DAoC 14 day free renewal. It will either be something simple like Bob or some greek name that means Jesus is Lord.

This is true. I took the name Brevitas during my recent visit to Camelot. I created several other characters to briefly explore the classes Mythic introduced in later expansion packs (I played DAoC during beta and six months after). I ended up naming seven characters:
  • Ulfbrikt, Valkyn Viking of Midgard: From the Old Norse "ulfr" (wolf) and "brikt" (bright)
  • Jhostef, Troll Seer of Midgard: Adapted from the name of my retired Troll Shaman, Jhostav
  • Brevitas, Briton Paladin of Albion: From the Latin "breviter," meaning "briefly"
  • Iheyka, Saracen Rogue of Albion: From the Egyptian "ihey," meaning "music"
  • Valescar, Sylvan Forester of Hibernia: From the Latin "valesco," meaning "to grow strong"
  • Cineris, Inconnu Disciple of Albion: Latin for "ashes" or "embers"
  • Thurgeis, Dwarf Viking of Midgard: From the Old Norse "thur" (Thor) and "geis" (pledge)
It will either be something simple like Bob or some greek name that means Jesus is Lord.

Those sorta fit... I could make them greek but then you wouldn't understand them.
