We're probably gonna give it a dedicated attempt on Saturday night with the guys from official forum thread. Several GAG guys coming and Anh should be there too. We brought Val down to 55% last night and the wiped when the tank was channeled to death by a shade we didn't take down in time.

Wanted to thank all those who attempted to kill Valthalak with me today. On our best attempt we got him down to 65%. With a few hunters I think we could have done it. Not sure who's up for it again. It was extremely difficult. Totally a strategy fight. Hopefully I'll see that guy dead some...

Hope that didn't scare you guys away. It's not as bad as it sounds. The damage doubles each time it chains but starts at around 600 but maxes at 7000-8000. Everyone will be fine as long as the tank keeps Val away from the rest of the group.
