re-logging what? Every time I load the website and get an actual page it wants me to login again, which I do, which then tells me they are not handing out beta keys right now. I have logged in and out of SE account services several times to see if I am missing anything in there, but nothing...

Tell us about your experience in the Open Beta. Mine is less than I was hoping for. :( Been trying to get a Beta key since they started releasing them last night, but the site has been down so I have not been able to get one. I finally got the game to finish patching and show a login...

So I finished the beta download with uTorrent, and then ran the Final Fantasy XIV Beta Version program again and it looks like it is still trying to download that 4.7 GB file... It is sitting at 51.9% even though my torrent says it is 100% downloaded What the heck?

i'm switching over to the post 9/11 GI Bill right now. Hopefully it will be done in time for my next semester because I am tired of dealing with my work's education assistance junk. :(

I wish. I'm at 95.6% but my wife is about to start a 25 man raid in WoW, and the torrent download takes up too much bandwidth so I will have to pause my download. It will suck to pause it at 97% or so and not get to play tonight at all because of that. :(

I mostly just want to use the beta to get some game footage so I can use it for a recruiting video. Other than that I just want to wait until the release to do most things.

You would think they would provide an easier way to get into the beta, like downloading an updated client that has the latest patches so you do not have to torrent ~9 gigs....

They said it works via WiFi or USB.

What really sucks is that I will not have the patch downloaded by tonight. I am still at 65.5% on this last file. :( And I'm sure after this patch there will be at least one more patch for me to download. So much for me playing tonight.

I think anybody using a maphack or any other hack against human opponents should be perma banned from battle.net....... >:(
