The castbar shows when they are going to cast. Since most of them have instant casts it's nice to get a heads up. That's why you need it.

I just wanted to put this in for everyone. I have been using a program called group calendar in sanc and now in Redeemed. It's a calendar mod that allows you to easily set up instances, raids, b-days. Whatever you want. You can choose levels for the instances you want, what class you want...
