Just For HealYoo

Yeah, thinking about going heal style so I can get more rep in instances. Plus I am just tired of getting ganked trying to do quests.

I wouldnt go holy to avoid getting ganked trying to do quests, just look back a couple months here and sancti forums about how hard a time avesther had. Unless you get a pocket rogue like Lara did:P

I'm kinda wondering if that wouldnt be a bad idea heh, at least farm the instas until I almost hit honored then do the quests in the zone to get as close to revered as possible without having to farm the 70 insta later that is harder to get groups for:P

That was actually pretty much what I did without realizing it at first. After getting all the rep I could from running the lower instances, I'd go back and do all the quests I could to get as close to revered as possible, and thus became revered with every faction relatively quickly.

From Avesther:

This here was my 60 to 70 levelling build. Lots of DPS and healing without shadow. Had to drink more often because of lack of VT, but not really an issue given that every caster eventually has to drink

Avesthers levelling build

Grinding start with a DPS trinket and a innerfocus and Holy fire, followed by a shadow word pain, mind blast, smite, smite, wand. Use PI when you've used up your trinkets for best consistency of DPS. If you want to two or three shot mobs, use PI with a DPS trinket and Laugh as your Holy fires approach 2500 when they crit!!!

Total thread sidetrack, but this is just one of the things I love about being an Affliction specced Warlock. Combine Dark Pact (with an Imp on passive serving as a mana battery) and Lifetap with Siphon Life and Drain Life, and I almost never need to drink. I use the underspore pods that I got as a quest reward in CFR when I do need to drink, and only have to resummon a stack of 10 every 3-4 days.

The really nice thing about my setup is that during long boss fights, I don't run out of mana. By managing my health and mana bars, and constantly refilling my health bar and DPing from my Imp, I can still be casting long after most other casters are waiting on their mana pot cooldowns.

Not that this is particularly relevant to Priest specs... Back to your Priest talk with you!

Move along - there's nothing to see here.
