yep what shade said...basically the difference between PvP and PvE server is that on PVP server you're always "flagged" (that means the opposite faction can attack you) in neutral territories...On PvE they can't. On PvE you have to initiate it by typing /pvp. In your own territory the opposite...

u will still not be able to get a cast off cause the attack speed is still 1.0...however, now the pet can't even keep up with the hunter and if u keep moving the pet won't attack u at all. I can see why people were complaining about the pet movement speed, and I agree getting a nerf but not...

you could pvp and get the mount for 90g rather than spend 800g..u can use that money to buy stuff or get uber enchants or what not. If you don't have a lot of time to pvp then i suggest just buy your mount :) .seek.
