The DKP issue is one of inflation. It's easily fixed by making the very good items cost more than they currently do OR give less DKP for bosses that are on farm (like 1 dkp instead of 2).

They made Onyxia level 80 and she drops updated lootz. The old Tier 2 helm designs are exactly the same but with better stats. It's for the 5 year anniversary of WoW.

Yeah, back when Warriors were the only tanks and any class with a healing spell was required to ONLY heal. There was no raiding dps specs for "healers". They built the Ony encounter under the assumption that a warrior would be tanking and he could stance dance or you had fear ward (cheating).
