I've had a very busy week, so I've played very little of this snapshot. Do you guys think we should try going back a version? My daughter and her friend were trying to play (local server, not ToJ), and I ended up switching back to last week's snapshot for them.

Mojang is working on threading and optimizing rendering with this latest snapshot, so these could well be bugs related to that. I didn't play more than a couple minutes after I updated the server version.

Ah, you caught me. :) It only takes a couple minutes or so to make a backup and switch server files around, but statistically I'm still going to occasionally block someone. 1 point for you!

Yeah, building a nether portal in the overworld will usually not create one in the nether. When you build your overworld-side portal, hit F3 and write down the coordinates (X and Z). Then go through, into the Nether, bringing your 10 obsidian and flint/steel. Divide the X by 8 and the Z by 8...

Resulting recommendation: remember to restrain rabbits with rope, ruining random relocation routine!

I think bunnies should actually reproduce on their own, to fit the popular procreation reputation. That could be hazardous to server CPUs though. Maybe we could teach our dogs to hunt them, for population control.

You're looking Deep Ocean, right? :) Just think, if we find a room of sponges, we could drop gravel to wall off a chunk of ocean and use the sponges to drain it. Jellyfish... yeah, we need those in Minecraft too! :D

Haha, so no more temple there? Those guardians will haunt you now. I just got rid of the elders, so now I am making a glass path on the sea floor all the way to the temple. Then I will gut the inside and turn it into a tourist attraction. Man, sponges make water tunnels SOOOO much easier! :D

Yay! I found a temple now! It's pretty close to an island as well, so I have a little home set up there. Prot IV armor helps a lot. I'll have to go find those elders... I saw the top of one from the top of the monument (broke a block before the Mining Fatigue started).

I was thinking of how to describe a guardian. One of my wayward trains of thought lead me to a swimming underwater mine, like an aquatic creeper. That would be cool. Edit: I described it as a cyclopian underwater mine with a tail, and it shoots lazer beams.

After some exploring, I found a spot where Guardians spawn, but there is no water temple there. There happens to be an island where I can stand on the shore and watch the Guardians shoot squids, perhaps 50 or so meters away, so maybe I can figure out some sort of farm? I'd have to build out...
