    Gogogo eBay

Wait a minute, what is all this talk about washing windows? Eight years in the same place and I have never done that. The wife has never complained either. Cross that one of your list.

    No Internet =(

In most cases you can buy a third party modem easily enough. Generally you would be looking at $50-100. From what I hear, most people that go that route get a better connection than with modems provided by their isp. Like reets said, dsl or cable? And, which provider?

    Asking for more computer help

I will second Amahi, especially if you install the XBMC package for it. I use a different setup now, but Amahi is a very stable and effective setup for what you are looking. XBMC is a fantastic media center setup that should serve you well.

Guild Event - World vs. World for Newbies - Thursday, Oct 04, 9 EST/6 PST

RyanB, thanks for that. I have become pretty good at following groups in WvW as I am usually going in solo. Hopefully I will be able to log on while all of you are still playing.

Guild Event - World vs. World for Newbies - Thursday, Oct 04, 9 EST/6 PST

I would consider tagging along (big groups are always best when they are organized), but I unfortunately can't be using Teamspeak right now. This isn't a matter of not being able to talk, but when I am online in the evenings I have to have half my attention on our infant (she is usually...

    Jesus' Wife

Well, it looks like the papyrus has officially been deemed a fake. The Harvard Theological Review, which was originally planning to support it, has decided to reject publication of the paper supporting this fragment. Blog post by Daniel Wallace Odale: Nice reference to John Stewart. He...

    Jesus' Wife

Well, it turns out that piece of papyrus might not even be that old. It may, in fact, be a modern forgery. Analysis by Francis Watson, a Greek and Coptic scholar at the University of Durham. For those who don't have time to read it, or don't want to wade through the Greek and Coptic, he...

    World v World Participants

After having a blast in WvW last night, I am curious to know how many of us are regularly participating. Last night I wet in solo and simply helped defend towers and keeps in the Darkhaven Borderlands. However, based on what I saw I think we have a fighting chance this time. If some of you...

    Confoozed Ol' Bear

I can relate. I just opened up my second tier of traits and thought, "Oh my, where do I begin?"

    Emotional Responses to Scripture...

My apologies Abba. I agree with Wolfeman that I don't think anyone was getting emotionally charged. However, we definitely were off topic. From here on out I will make my best effort to remain on topic in these threads. Now that I have said that, I should probably make an on topic addition...

    Emotional Responses to Scripture...

I know this just continues this off-topic subject, but Wolfeman I would really like to see sources that trace the IFB directly back to 150 AD or earlier without connection to the Roman Catholic church (I specify Roman because there is a distinction between "Roman Catholic" and "catholic") or...

    Does "Destination" matter?

The atonement is sufficient for all, but only efficient for those who accept the free gift of God's grace (the elect).

    Confused need Tech advice

The first thing I would do, if you have not already done so, is check the power button on the back of the power supply. As many times as I have built computers, the most common problem I have is that the psu power switch is off or I have failed to connect a cord somewhere.

    Emotional Responses to Scripture...

I have a few points to add here. The first is with regards to pentecostals and charismatics. Pentecostalism was a movement that began in the early 1900s. The charismatic movement began in the mid-1900s and was built off of pentecostalism (sometimes referred to as a second wave of...

    Infant Baptism?

Well, the baby came almost 2 weeks ago now. I haven't really had the time to put together a good post supporting infant baptism. If you want, I can still put something together, but it doesn't seem very useful at this point.

If you are not in LoE and/or cannot represent

Last I new (I have been off since Monday morning and could be off for a few more days due to the arrival of our beautiful daughter - sorry, I am not trying to derail this thread....really....), I know two people without invites. Guinevere.5724 has been sent invites 2 or 3 times, but has not...

To Drill Or Not To Drill?

Nice find, Waynos! This should be a great psu for you. I agree with Dimderwin, psu air intake from inside the case is fine. They really only need airflow, not necessarily cool air. PSUs don't get as hot as a lot of other parts and they have a very good heat tolerance.

    A few build questions

Personally, I say use three fans. Two in front for intake, one in the back for exhaust. The fan on the side panel isn't really needed unless yo have a cpu or gpu that is known for being hot and is going to be overclocked. I don't think that is the case fr you. Since you are being given a...
