I should be in bed but I stayed up late looking at computer components on Newegg. I need to get to bed before I draw (completely reasonable and justified) wife aggro.

So post what you're thankful for. Feel free to add a prayer for your families and others in the community if you feel led to do so.

Ya beat me to it, wuz a gonna post a thread like this. And ya din't put a limit on it so here goes.
Thankful for.
Free Salvation and Grace
At my age I still have my mother and all my brothers and sisters.
A wife that loves me and adores me (don't know why, but I'll take it.)
Free medical care
Not hungry and have a roof over my head.
Live in a free country

I'd better quit the list is getting kinda long.
Oh and good recreation in GW2

I'm really late but I'm still thankful 3 days later so here it is:

Thankful for my sister and little brother. They mean more to me than anything in the world and I'm just so glad that we're as close as we are.

I'm also thankful that I finally got a job a few weeks ago.

Also, if anyone remembers that embarrassing wall-o-text I posted in prayer requests a while ago that situation is resolving itself slowly and I'm actually learning to build relationships that don't just fall into my lap. Hard stuff but I'm so happy to be learning it instead of wallowing in self pity. I'm finally getting somewhere! :D

I'm late, too, but I started the thread, so it's only right I post my piece.

I am grateful, first and foremost, that God showed mercy to me, a sinner deserving His wrath and judgment, amazing grace. I am thankful He is exceedingly patient with me as I stumble, fall, and make a fool of myself. I am thankful that He chose not to simply create us then step away, but instead decided to also be intimately involved in the day-to-day life of His creation.

I am thankful for my wonderful wife and daughter, who I grow to love more each day. I am thankful for my family and my wife's family. I am thankful I was raised by Christian parents who taught me that I am accountable for my actions and my decisions have consequences.

I am thankful to lead a community that seeks to glorify God through gaming, knowing the Lord could have chosen others with better credentials, more mature character, and greater ability than myself to lead.

I am thankful to be part of an online community of fellow believers who are so much fun to play with. :)

EDIT: I am also thankful that God forgives me for fixating on researching PC hardware like a ninny when I should instead be handling my administrative responsibilities. ^^;;

Huzzah! We celebrate with you. :)

I can't speak for others, but I know that building new friendships is, more often than not, very difficult and awkward, so I can sympathize with your plight. Yet God is good and sends us the friends He knows we need to help draw near to Him.
