There appears to be a thread going on in the stonemaul forums that has some hurtful things to say about Redeemed as well as one of our members, Clerros.

I would urge you all to stay out of this thread, as words are easily turned against you. Most people currently posting are notorious trolls. Logic and especially scripture fall on deaf ears. Everything said to reason with them is just gonna get blown off or misconstrued.

Either flame, Shagz, or myself will post there and close the matter. There may be one or two serious posters there and we will decide if any response is even necessary.

You all are great. We have a great guild. Don't let this little thing skew any of your ideas about us or what we stand for.

Also, keep in mind it takes the littlest things to set some people off. Some people are just looking for excuses to come after us.

On a simple Ahune run the other night, I was on my warrior tank, Cryogenic with me. We had done a lot of successful Ahune kills before this particular group. After the first diminish, the second wave of adds begins. The paladin healer just stands there, not casting heals for ten+ seconds, while I have the huge add and more little adds on me. Of course I die. Healer blames me for being too squishy. When I don't respond, he gets angry, starting to make fun of me, swear at me, and just basically non-stop berating. I am quiet through all of this until I rez. He just keeps going. So I explain to him that he failed to heal me when the second wave of adds came out. I explained that I had run this fight successfully many many times today, and it wasn't until I grouped with him that we wiped. One of the dps initiated a vote kick, essentially agreeing with me.

So then the guy logs out, makes a new character on our realm, does /who Redeemed, and talks to Engris about me, saying he wants to speak to an officer about my behavior. Unfortunately I wasn't online at the time.
 
No - great job to you for seeing it in the first place. I hit the Stonemaul forums for this very reason from time to time, but hadn't seen this one. Glad you brought it to our attention!

I don't have the whole thread, but just for posterity, here was my reply:

Thanks for your thoughtful and constructive criticism of our guild and it's members. While there have been incidents where it has not been the case, we try to hold our membership to a standard of conduct set forth in the Bible.

If anyone feels this has not been the case, you may take it up in private with an officer and we will be glad to investigate it. Screenshots are helpful, and if you truly have an issue with a member, I will give you my email address and you can send me those screenshots.

You may not call out individual members on these forums. Doing this shows that you do not actually seek to resolve the problem, but that you only wish to make it worse and provoke an argument with the guild.

I can also answer any questions about raiding, if that is what we are to be judged by. We are most certainly a casual guild, although we have formed a progression team that is by no means hardcore. We are currently 11/12 consistently, and are working on that first Nefarian kill! Got close the other day, but couldn't quite pull it off. We're excited to begin Firelands right as it comes out, but only time will tell how our progression team will fare in there.

TL;DR: Anyone who has a real issue with our guild, it's members, or would simply like to make fun of our raid progress can talk directly to me about it. I'll gnome up and take it.

what the heck. you guys handled it like Christians?! I am not used to Christians acting like Christ. ;) Good job guys.

Oh yea I remeber when that dude was raging at me for his bad tanking. He didnt like being called out on it. I reported the incident to Good when he started saying stuff about redeemed.
