Christian Crew Highlander Event #2 March 4th!

Otoris from Christian Crew just sent me a link to a thread about an upcoming Christian Crew Highlander event:

Rules of Event

• Two teams consisting of nine Players. Will have Alternates and Substitutes.
• Highlander class limits apply to both teams
• Highlander Class Limits: One of each class.
• Both teams will use the same TeamSpeak server. (CC teamspeak, ts.ccgaming.com)
• Teams will be in their assigned channels.
• All unlocks allowed! (No jumper weapons though *ie. Rocket jumper/Sticky jumper*)
• No griefing or screwing around to mess up the team, this is for fun.. don't ruin it for the others.
• Players will be asked, but not required to have a Number Tag in their name.
*ie. -1 or -One for team One. -2 or -Two for team Two*
This will just speed up the time it takes to move people to correct teams.
• Have fun! Remember this is just for fun and to enjoy the time we can spend together. Nothing is personal let it all go and just enjoy it.

My gaming availability is sporadic now, but I may still try to participate.

I at least wanted to post about the event as I know most ToJ TF2 chapter members visit Christian Crew's FISH servers at least occasionally.

I call Tek as my pocket medic! Uh not that I actually can in this contest. Pocket medics are so adorable like Pokemon except the catch phrase is "I gotta stab them all!" .

Too bad that's tonight, I'm flying home for Spring Break (which also means I won't be there for TF2sday next week). Sounds like fun, though.

D'oh! So it is. I didn't even realize that when I posted the thread.

I call Tek as my pocket medic! Uh not that I actually can in this contest. Pocket medics are so adorable like Pokemon except the catch phrase is "I gotta stab them all!" .

I'm afraid you have it backwards, sir. Medics have pocket Soldiers. If any class collects other players like digital pets, it's Medics.

I will try to channel the Keero 1337ness to get them if I get in. Does it matter if my Scout tends to go invisible and stab them instead?

You are right the Medics I collect aren't so much digital pets as wall mountable trophies... .

Gerbil is like the Jekyll and Hyde of TF2: Playing Spy and killing me when on the opposite team, playing Twin Medic (WITH OUR POWERS COMBINED) and saving my life when on my team.

I attended any had some good games with the CC people for a couple hours. They were talking about having another game next week and doing something like all one class.
