Steam Christmas sale highlights

Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale is still half off of retail (coming in at $9.99 right now). If you don't own this game, I highly recommend changing that ASAP.
Agreed. Recettear is a fantastic game. Just be careful that you keep an eye on the clock and don't lose hours at a time alternating between the game's item store sim and dungeon crawler scenarios.

A generous Moose decided to front the five bucks for me. He's a nice guy. He probably hates that I call him a Moose, but I do it out of affection... and to conceal his identity in case he doesn't wanna be known for generosity. :P

Implication: I will do my best to be at TF2sdays! :D

Huzzah for the Moose!

And huzzah for Kendrik joining us on TF2sdays!

And a third huzzah just to round things out!

Today's sales look a little weak to me. I might pick up A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, but will probably pass on everything else.

C'mon, January 2 Steam sales! Bring us Zero Gear and Garry's Mod for $2.50 each (and not some lame recap sale)!

I have gone to town getting bargains through steam this days of steam
holiday sales and on new years eve I have done Gigs upon Gigs of Steam
downloading, BOY!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

And even some Gigs on the new year.

Looks like we lose on this one, but I will download the Zero Gear demo later today, and then make my decision... :)
Excellent.

I'm getting ready to buy Zero Gear and Plants vs. Zombies: GOTY Edition (I can only pass on that game so many times--I'm not made of stone, ya know!) to close out the Steam sales.

I'm going to pass on Garry's Mod this time--even though I've wanted it for a while now--and pick it up at a future date when I can buy games without it stinging so much.

Oh, I might still pick up Altitude, though. And I'm intrigued by Caster as well.

Too many good games on sale. :(
