NOTE: Daily deals are marked below in bold. All other sales run through Jan. 2 and those games MAY be discounted further in an upcoming daily deal. You've been warned.
And make sure to consult this list of Steam games with third-party DRM before making any purchases.

Hmm zero gear looks pretty entertaining, never heard of it.
BassMan and I played the demo last year. It's a shameless Mario Kart clone, but surprisingly fun. I might pick it up for $5 if others plan to do the same.

FEAR Collection is 9.99, and as a FPS, it still plays extremely well. The first one is excellent, expansions are decent (one of them feels like a cash grab), and FEAR 2 will dissapoint you. Mature game, but man is action slick. Or, just pick up the first game. :)

Bad Company 2 is 6.79, an excellent time to pick it up for both a fun Singleplayer and an expansive online component which has plenty of vehicles and team-based play. You may also want to pick up the Vietnam expansion that was released a few days ago, really mixes things up a lot.

And Peggle Pack for 7.99 looks very enticing to me right about now. @_@

Out of the 3 options you listed, Peggle Complete Pack seems like the obvious choice for replay value.

But that's just my opinion. :D

Liking Super Meat Boy a lot, it's like Mario + Megaman X wall jumps + blood. Yay!

I went back and marked the daily deals in bold. I also removed Star Trek D.A.C. after seeing it has a Metacritic score of 50.

I advise holding off on non-featured sales (Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Yosumin, Zero Gear, all other titles not marked in bold in my first two posts) until the final days of sales as some titles may be discounted further in future daily deals.

Also: Portal is on sale for $3.74 or $2.25 if you own Half-Life 2. This one IS a daily deal.

Xion says this looks awesome...and is thinking about getting it...but I am unsure...

At a price point of $5, I'd recommend it, but you have until Jan. 2 to decide (at least, if I understand the Steam sales system correctly). I believe the only sales that expire today are those listed as daily deals.

Bah, Portal was free for a bit, and I have that written down in a notebook somewhere, so there's no way I can pay $3!

I don't recall the entirety of Portal ever being free.

Portal: The First Slice is available for free, though.

$3.74 (or $2.25 if you own Half-Life 2) is a fantastic deal for this game. Portal 2 may be the only PC game set to release in 2011 that I pre-order.

You have 52 minutes left to buy it at that price! (And I advise NOT waiting until the last minute. I once tried to buy something on a Steam sale 3 minutes before the sale ended and the prices had already changed.)

It was free for a time when it came out on Mac, along with the PC (and I believe Steam) version.

I'm not sure it was free for PC users, too. If it was, well, I should have had my wife download it then. Or maybe I did? I don't recall. It's all fuzzy.

Either way, $3.74 or $2.25 is small penance to pay for missing that one-time opportunity.

Daily deals for Tuesday, Dec. 21:

EDIT: If the PSN versions of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box were the same price, I'd buy them from the Playstation Store in a heartbeat. :(

Resident Evil 5 is very fun co-op, replayable, and Omega Amen kicks butt in it. :p GFWL didn't really bring down the experience like it does Dawn of War 2.

Bioshock 2: Better than the first in a lot of ways, less "mature" or scary. It didn't need to be made, but it sure is a blast.

No clue on the others. xD
