Your very own Alaska thread (so you can stop de-railing others)

shoulda got your tan while it was sunny 24/7. It's too late for you now since you're so far north the UV rays won't reach. :p

I think I might have a couple days left.

Got room at my place, plus 3 beefy PCs, cable, a phaddy dog, all the latest consoles, aaaand home made food.

Yeah, I can't beat that. Especially since I don't even have my own place yet. :o

However, once I do I will totally be able to give Keero a run for his money at hospitality.

Pssh. Guys. I'm going to culinary this year. It's like...

In Soviet Russia, guest serve you!

...seriously. Have groceries? Will cook. :P

Still I would like to drive back up there for an extended vacation, but my other half is unable to ride in a vehicle that far. Otherwise I'd do it.

well, you could drive out to Seattle and take the ferry. That'd shave off a bunch of time. Not to mention the ferry ride is apparently pretty spectacular on clear days.

I spent 1300 going from texas to OH, to Prince Rupert, ferry to Haines, then to Fairbanks in 1973.
