Catan, anyone?

I'm a huge fan of the board game...so when I saw Catan in the store, it was an instant buy. The trade interface is a little weird at first, but once I kinda got used to it makes perfect sense...really not sure how else they could've done it.

There is no local play (due to the fact it's a card based game, so kind of hard to do local co-op fairly), but I've had a lot of fun playing online. You can also hop on and play with friends only, a friend plus computer players, or join a friends game and beat down some strangers.

If you haven't played the board game, I'll just say it's a very strategic and fun board game, and I highly recommend it for $7.

From what I have heard, the 360 and PS3 Catan were made by different folks. I'm not sure how many differences there are between the two.

Yeah, I also love ticket to ride...have to try carcassone. Did you know you can play online @ daysofwonder.com? I know they let you play the first 4 games free and I think you just have to own the board game to play online. Really great idea, if you ask me.
