Okay, people, let's make a list and have some fun with it.

  1. Water levels, unless they're amazingly awesome
  2. Jumping puzzles in 3D action RPGs
  3. Random encounters
  4. Generic spiky-haired protagonists

I'm trying to find an un-spoilery video or series of screenshots that is the awesomeness of underwater play in Shadow Complex....

...me likey water levels much, water purrty <runs and hides> (and yes I liked the water temple in Ocarina even though the boots were a pain) but I agree with the other three.

1. Grinding.
2. Female attire that looks like it's held together by spit and bailing wire and is supposed to be "armor".
3. Games in a series with the number 10 or more in the title.
4. Collectors editions, pre-purchase editions, ex editions, cash in editions.

I agree with Gerbil - grinding - any kind of running back and forth - wasted time and energy

...lack of infinite storage
...lack of mapping

eww this is not a choice list for me. I like Spiky hair, love TCG elements, have fun grinding, and always enjoy seeing the Collector editions.

BRING BACK LAN PLAY!!!!

Seconded.

  1. Intuitive quests that make MMOs fun.
  2. Bring back (or... in some cases introduce) the need to explore in fantasy worlds.
  3. Cookie cutter armor, use of previous armor styles (I'm looking at you Blizzard [WoW]).
  4. Quest chains where you have to get x amount of items but the item's drop rate is randomized. (I need 6 human ears but I had to kill 34 humans. Thats a lot of birth defects...)
  5. Give me a game where I can truly play casually and still be one of the best.
  6. I can't think right now...

Edit! Oh and bring back the RPG in the MMORPG game genre. In most games it is like its not even there!

I know i did the opposite of the thread but to tired to type it all over again.

Same server pvp, none of this battlegroup stuff (makes for great rivalries)

Once you get a max character get another for free

Account bank options with account housing

armor dye and ability to mix all dyes for any color

automatically ban an account for the case sensitive or combination of QQ, L33T, etc..

Trade systems that do not take 15 years to do but do have a large chance of failure nothing like farming for 3 days to get a mat and fail to make the item and have to go back to the drawing board.

No MORE Beta testing of endgame instances by outside sources, tired of when something is released 85% of the population knows how to do it or the walkthrough is on youtube

Punishing an entire gaming community for beating the devs at there own "broken" system they call a game.

- Partners are Bots/AI!!!

I was so frustrated when I played RE5.

My Partner (Bot/AI) had a fully ammo Shotgun and Pistol.
I, unfortunately, had no ammo, faced up against two, machine-gun goons and what does my Partner (Bot/AI} do! NOTHING!
It has a clear view and range, and does NOT EVEN FIRE ITS WEAPON!

Not just that, Yu-Gi-Oh GX: The Beginning of Destiny, the box/case clearly says, 2-Players. But when I play it, its NOT 2-Players, its 1-Player and 1 Bot/AI as my Partner!

I only have one which actually would fix many of the already listed.

1. Releasing a game based on marketing department or producers time line and not when the game is actually complete and stable.

Did you relaly expect a lot?

Yes, I actually did since they have it on PC.

But it would of been really fun if I played a HUMAN OPPONENT.
At first, my best friend, then if there was a CGA/ToJ Convention, Atown (and any others that play Yu-Gi-Oh).

Even, Yu-Gi-Oh: Duelist of the Roses, is 2-Human Players. Not the real game though.

1. Characters with no clothes on at all and to second someone who said it before, characters with clothes on, but barely any.
2. Bad language
3. Being able to get married in a game (sorry rpg lovers who like this feature, I can't stand games that let you get married [especially if it's a mmo])
