Stonemaul wasn't loading for me, and I took to the realm forums and found this info; worked perfectly and I'm online now!

Windows Vista Users:
1) Right click on your desktop
2) Go to new->Shortcut
3) type "cmd" and press enter
4) Right click on the new shortcut you just made and "run as administrator." Click continue.
5) at the command prompt, type "ipconfig /flushdns" without the quotes of course
6) Close the command prompt and re-run wow, it should show up now.

Other windows users:
1) go to start menu->Run
2) type "cmd" and press enter
3) follow steps 5-6 for vista




and for you mac users

If you are a Mac OS 10.5.x user I managed to get it working with:

dscacheutil -flushcache

Hope this gets everyone back online!
 
Also I tried this and it works great!

1) Turn off computer
2) Go outside
3) ....
4) Enjoy!
 
i tried this:

go do laundry and cook dinner, come back and yeah it was loading!

outside was too scary. wow geeks definitely follow flame's directions.
 
I went out for a haircut just now, and nearly got pwned by a level 3 squirrel!

Luckily I was able to summon my epic Pontiac Grand Prix mount and get away. I was out of combat before I got to the end of my road.
 
I've not tried to log on yet, had so many problems last night that I had to do some 'maintenance' getting rid of folders in the wow system. I really hated to do this, as now I'll have to redo any macro's I had... (Avesther, the most important Priest ones) and all of my desk top settings and key bindings, still, I hope it repairs some of the problems I've been having, like running around STV and Arathi Highlands, wondering why every one and his neighbor were out looking for the same ore as I was, when I finally ran across a node and low and behold, it didn't show up on my mini map! (**wonders how many nodes I missed in STV!) well, here's hoping I can log on and that my newbish efforts at a fix works. :))
 
gah, the stonemaul server "disappeared" from my list of log on servers again. i tried the fix, and it worked, thanks!
