Why did you choose your class?

This is kind of a response to "What is your Favorite Class and Why?"... But why did you choose your mains class?

I'll start off. If you don't know I'm a hunter and I've always played a hunter. When I began playing it was between a Gnome Warlock or Night Elf Hunter, mainly because I thought it was cool I could have a pet that would attack. In the end I chose a Night Elf Hunter because I could use bows, simple as that hah.

Death Knight because I'm using my brother's account and I don't want to have to level from 1-58 again after my last two characters/accounts have been put out of commission.

Using mana also sucks.

STATUS REPORT
Azzie: Pvp Rank 10 (in the old days), Paladin, level 60. Account expired.
Atrahasis/Caterpillar: S2 Glad-geared Warrior, level 70. Account lost shortly after transfer from Cho'gall to Stonemaul.

Anzuu: Death Knight, Level 64, 350 mining 350 herb. Hoping to avoid fate of predecessors. Proving insanely overpowered at leveling.

I chose a priest because I was doing research on WoW and had found the part of the community site where you can see all the armor sets for each class... and I thought that the priest T6 looked the best and I wanted to get it. Little did I know that the few times I'd get a chance to roll on any T6 I'd roll horribly... lol

I have a screenshot somewhere of myself rolling a "1" on the T6 gloves lol.

The very first toon I ever created was a dwarf paladin named Theros. I had played Warcraft 1, 2 and 3 and Muradin was a dwarf pally(kinda) and the thought of being able to throw my hammer at someone was enticing. I eventually deleted him at about 28, 29 because I had started playing Alhana a lot more which is my priest, however when I had initially created her she was a mage but I wasnt all that keen on mages at the time. I had read some of the info on Priests and one phrase about them had jumped out at me...burn them w/ Holy Fire...

Then came Gnimish my gnome mage because Melko was my gnome mage role model in game and he made it look so cool. Then I finally reinvented Theros as a human pally, and thats where I am today.

I made a mage for several reasons: I've always liked the magical side of things when it comes to RPGs - I played runescape prior to WoW, and was always (trying) to use magic. I had no idea coming in to WoW what the different classes could even do (tank, heal, dps). After leveling a mage on another server to 26, I heard about Redeemed. My roommate and I promptly forgot about our young toons on the other server and came to make some on Stonemaul to be a part of Redeemed.

We knew there were different specs for mages, but still didn't quite understand which was better, and assumed all were relatively equal. Since we planned to level together, we thought it would be cool to make gnome mages with the twin assaults of frost and fire. Thus, Flamethrøwer and Cryøgenic were born.

The reason I decided on a gnome is because I'm 6'6" in real life, and, as the tallest person I know...it's just nice to be the short guy sometimes. Plus, it just seemed cool that one of the highest levels of damage could come out of such a small package.

After leveling Flame to 70, I was well aware of the ins and outs of the game, and decided I wanted a healer and tank, to be useful in all situations. So I while I leveled Redletters (prot pally), and Likeminded (Holy Priest) to 70+ as humans, I'm still a gnome at heart. You can't make gnome pallies or priests! Apparently there is something inherently unholy about gnomes...

And now you know......

......the rest of the story.

Dradow was a contest with my little brother who could get a druid to lvl 10 first :D
Basicly me and him leveled every class to lvl 20 and i liked the druid better then anything else so i lvled him while my brother slowly lvled his mage.He is yet to get him lvl 80..(he has too many alts) :p Sooo Yeah thats how i made dradow. Then i X-fered him here a few weeks before WOTLK came out. oh and one more thing...Druids Rock :)

well i started playing one day cause fox was at my house and he was like dude runescape is LAME lets play wow! so we got the game from his friend and started a trial account for each of us haha. and the person that gave us the game was a beast lvl 60 hunter so we are like we wanna be like him! so we started hunters.
i started as a night elf cause i thought they were cool and fox told me that he wouldnt talk to me if i was a night elf sooo i deleted him and tried a gnome lock..... didnt like that he was squishy
so ended up making galatians =)

First of all DWARVES RULE! Most of my characters are dwarves and they ALL would be if Dwarves could be druids/locks/mages. They are honorable, stout, rough around the edges, and most of all BURLY!
I rolled a Dwarf Paladin because I loved the idea of being a crusader (not like the actual crusades) and bringing justice to the wicked. I wanted to be Judge, Jury, and Executioner but unfortunately Paladins were not what I expected in original WoW. I leveled Proudfoot to 60 and was forced to heal (bleh). So I then rolled a Dwarf Rogue and Warrior so that I could fulfill the role of DPS that I so badly wanted. I LOVE melee and being in the thick of the action.

My Paladin is now exactly what I have always wanted him to be... melee DPS! The Paladin fits what I've always thought of for "me". Fights for truth and justice and is intolerant of wickedness. The Paladin should be a source of inspiration on the battlefield and enable those around him to fight with purpose and renewed vigor.

And to Bill... I've never liked Elves. They seem like they have this attitude that they are better than everyone, and that just isn't me. I don't have anything against the players who choose to play them, I just don't like the race. My best friend Wulf plays an elf and he rocks, I'll just never play one.

Hah this made me actually laugh out loud

i like the Nelfs cuz they can stealth. i like being all slick and stealthy like even tho i suck at it.

Pre wrath i was a hunter cuz i like shooting things/sniping stuff. so a hunter was the closest thing to that in WoW i could get so i went for it.

now i'm a DK. i like that cuz i never have to stop to mana up between fights so grinding is quite easy.

true story, i was there..

I am totally anti-night elf. If any other race could be a druid, I'd have done it. Cryo can vouch for me...I'm always hating on night elves.

lol I love the night-elves. They're mystical, magical, and have beautiful areas! Their ears bugged me at first but i got over it :P When I first started WoW I chose a druid because my boyfriend at the time said I probably wouldnt be able to play one because they were more complicated...I kinda took that as a challenge. She was a healer for the most part but when I finally got her to 60 BC came out. I took a break for a while then came back into it when I was with Bill.

I started Sheckle, my mage, just for fun while we waited for my lvl 23 rogue to transfer (my druid was stuck on a pve realm so couldnt trasnfer her yet). Three weeks go by as Im leveling this mage and realize i had to push the final "accept" button for trasnfer for it to actually go through LOL. By that time my mage was a higher level and tons more fun. I then leveled whispyr after I was a little bored of my mage. I've always LOVED healing...when i played NWN (Neverwinter Nights) I was a cleric, and of course my druid was a healer so i decided to try the priest. I basically healed her way through instances til level 70..same with level 80...and I just love raid healing vs. dps. It's so much fun for me. So yeah...that's my story

btw...my rogue is still level 23 haha
