10 Mans

Hey is there any possibility of getting more 10 man naxx's scheduled? There is interest for more then one group and quite frankly its annoying trying to be a pug to run these things as they take sometimes hours out of our lives to build. I understand the guild wants to progress and thats fine, but it feels like it may have moved out of 10 man naxx too early. Can this be looked at?

we actually do have 10 man naxx scheduled... there was one tonight actually.
You just have to watch the calendar. Im not saying they are always scheduled but for the most part samboe or gobby have a run setup

Yes, I know that there was one scheduled tonight, I didn't win the roll to get in. There were quite a few people that didn't get in. I'm not saying that NO runs are scheduled. I'm asking to see if more can get scheduled...thats all. I know with a guild the size of redeemed more then 10 people want to go. And let me tell you, pugging is getting bad. If there's one wipe, a person leaves and the rotation begins from there.

And yes, I love the name Derek..it's a special name.

well in the past ( aka like a month ago) we were having problems getting even 10 together that wanted to raid.... we are lucky to have more then 25 sign up for 25 mans... In the last couple weeks we have had plenty sign up which is an amazing thing it just doesnt always happen.

The decision was made to focus on progressing in the game and making "farmed" content puggable. That doesn't mean there aren't raid leaders in the guild who will lead 10 man raids, but you can easily get into pugs to complete them as well. Watch the calendar and ingame chat for 10 man raids to be started on off nights (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday).

Puggable raids include 10 man Naxx, 10 man OS, 10 man and 25 man Vault.

When you can't find a group......you can always start your own!

i think he tried puggin em :-P

I've been trying to pug and yes, being as though my personality tends to go towards leading stuff, I've been a part of starting stuff. The problem is that some people are too fickle and will only stay in pugs if they are guaranteed like no wipes etc. I know the guild wants to progress, and you know what I'm part of that crowd that has been progressing with it, but with that being said, all I'm asking is that it be looked at to add more 10 mans...here and there. I don't think thats a bad request and while its been sufficiently farmed out by some toons, it hasn't been farmed out by others. On a side note, it would also be an opportunity to get some of these alts geared up in case they are ever needed in one of the 25's.

Again let me state, i have no problem trying to pug, but I would rather run with guildies any day of the week. The Christ-like environment that we try to pursue is much different then the pug environment.

There are 7 days a week, 4 of them devoted to 25 mans. I think after that, most are too burned out for 10 mans on top of it.

I think Goblits point was you can Pug or start up a run and try to get guildies into it instead of all random people. I know when I get to 80 Lara and I will be willing to run 10 man stuff if we can

I think you are missing my point. I'm not asking for it to be scheduled like it was before. I'm just asking for more runs to be considered. Thats all.

Yeah, the problem we run into with the 10 mans lately, as far as I've seen, is the lack of tanks or healers to do start 2 runs. This past Wednesday we had 3 healers, 3 tanks and probably close to 10 dps on the wait list. Most weeks I'm sure there will be a "guild pug" of Naxx and if there's enough for 2 groups, there will probably be 2 groups. We can consider more 10 man runs all we want, but if the people aren't aren't around, there's not much we can do about it.

Totally....and might I say that is an awesome pic of you and your son Where :-)

well since I want to run it so bad...maybe I should go tank.... :P

That would be awesome for 5 man....ok for 10 man...but would likely make your chance at 25 man, much slimmer. Just something to consider. (Make 2 sets of gear and practice 2 specs might be an option as well)

I think what Goblit is saying, is:

While there is no official plans to do 10 man OS\Naxx or any version of the vault, individual members are strongly encouraged to pick up any slack they see and run with it. The leaders will support you in any way including putting up dates on the guild calender. the "PUGable" status is two fold:

1. So you don't feel guilty about going to a 10 man OS with friends in another guild
2. So you are not limited to guild only when trying to form a group. If you have some friends in other guilds you want to include, by all means, invite them.

Not that you have to run with a full pug or start a full pug, all though you could if you wanted to.

Now as for having a full guild only 10 man, that entirely depends on the level of interest in the guild. You can't force people to do Naxx, and even if you get a group, you can't expect to get it complete in an evening. Maybe a wing, maybe two. And that is all you get all week long.

I've attempted a few PuG 10man Naxx unsuccessfully i might, like Art says if you wipe once and ppl start leaving, I can see his point it is a little frustrating.

With that being said there are quite a few up and coming 80's like Where & Lara, and a few others who I'm sure will love doing 10's.

Silverdruid has been leading some ten mans, get with him. He had one going last night with the peeps that didn't make the roll for the 25 man.
