I been googling and searching around and have not found alot on it on the web. I tried to heal last night on the first boss in UB and could not keep healing up when people stood in the spoors. How much healing should I have or is the 600 I have now good enough I just had a bad group?

they should be moving away from the spores regardless. its a major mana drain to have heal dps and tank when the dps damage can be easily avoided. 600 is great for regular UB. You should be fine.

the tank should be moving the boss in a circle around that room to help melee DPS and himself avoid spores and ranged DPS and the healer just need to be aware of their surroundings and avoid them as well

I think in groups like that they should call us Miracle workers and not Healers... as you go on in healing you will learn which people you can let drop after you keep telling them that they need to move.... luckily in our guild we dont have to do that much....

Great list! I would add also when the tank pulls multiple mobs (which are normally single pulls) then everyone dies, tanks fault.

How is this your problem? Yeah, probably if you have my healing and mana regen on a normal UB, you can heal through the spores. But thats not what the fight is about. This fight is about mental accuity to realize that you are taking damage and you can do something about it.
There are two aspects of this fight everybody in the group needs to be aware off.
First, as you found out, get away from the spores. If you like to die, stay near them. Anybody who does not move away doesn't get healed.
Secondly, at about 25%, he entagles himself and does an AOE damage aura to all those about 5 yards around him. Guess what you do when he starts doing that?
Don't be afraid in a pug to get on the case of the mage that doesn't move from the spores or the rogue that doesn't move when he entagles himself. You know for sure they'll be on your case if they die.

Thanks for the info. The group was not blaming me I don’t think they were. I just wanted to make sure I had enough +healing to do that instance. I looked at a bunch of armories today around my level it look like I have above average + healing for my level so I guess I’m good to go I try another time tonight.
