Tek, you might be served best by creating a PvP character. You will need an invite to the guild before you can travel to the SoE guild hall via the map screen (hit "M" in game) or guild window (hit "G" in game).

Contact myself (Loew Krug), or one of the many other officers (STC, one2dredd, Mirawyn, dorkelf, rubberducky, A Servant, Zanthox, johnnycaro, KiljoyChronos, Manyik, and Trinity (sorry if I forgot anyone). We'll probably be gathering on TS as well, but the events will be led primarily in-game via local chat in the guild hall. I can't talk on TS anyway because the mic in my headset is going bad and I haven't attempted to get a new one yet.

the key i gave is for all 3 campaigns, starting in Factions or Nightfall will allow you to get to the GH quicker.

the fine print down at the bottom of the page says you can't create a PvP-only character. sorry.

Bwah? I managed to create a PvP character named Oved Haddad under the Factions campaign.

I had a character named Ne Multus leftover from a previous trial key, but he was linked to the Nightfall campaign and the game told me I didn't have access to that content.

I'm finding that the download is running dreadfully slowly (~15-20K/sec). I don't have 24/7 Internet access and I don't feel safe leaving my notebook overnight in the common library area of my apartment complex (where I bring my notebook to get online).

I'm still hoping to at least visit during the prayer and fellowship tomorrow at 9 p.m. Eastern, but, given that I'm running on a 768K connection and only when I bring my notebook to a public area, I don't know if I'll be able to make it.

I managed to log in to the game last night after loading Guild Wars, minimizing the client, and letting it download data for about an hour. I was then able to get into the game.

Stc95 sent me a guild invite earlier today. I joined the guild, clicked to enter the Spirit of Elijah guild hall, and am now waiting for more data to download.

The client says it's downloading at about ~16K/sec. >_<

I may be attending a Sunday evening church service at 6 p.m. Central today. Once I get back, I'll return to the common library area (where my wife and I bring our notebooks to get online) to finish the download.

I still hope to make it to the prayer and fellowship tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern (8 p.m. Central).

You'll see what I mean. STC and ajmuncha know. If anyone asks, it's nothing to do with trolling or running around in anyone's undergarments.
 
I'm gonna be there definately...does it have anything to do with spelunking either? I'm at a disadvantage with the hide and seek game...i load slowly...
 
Though Sunday evening service ran late and I wasn't able to get into the game until about 8:15 p.m. Central, it was a pleasure to visit the guild hall and participate in some of the festivities.
