It is called vertical words.
How you play is I will choose a letter of the alphabet and give a hint on two words that could be formed using that letter.(I know I'm lame =P). The person who decides to post after me chooses the next letter and adds his/her hint. The person who posts who thinks they know the word can either say, "I do not know," and start a new word or they can guess.

Example(because I'm having trouble articulating due to my visit to the dentist today):

I do not know. New word.

And so on.
