Okay I'm looking for a fansub that has a lot of action a good story, but no sissy stuff. (i.e. long draw out love stories.)

hmm:

Blood+ is ok...
Trinity Blood <- plain awesome
Any variety of gundam, I really liked gundam seed and the successor gundam seed destiny. The new 00 is really good also, but it seems to concentrate more on the political then the interpersonal.
Bleach to some extent, it just broke 160 episodes and I don't know if I can take it any more. It suffers from filler syndrome and dbz style entire season duels though.

My mind hit a wall and refuses to function at this time...

there's a new macross series out there.

Denno Coil is an awesome story

Hayate is funny

Kekkashi & History's Strongest Disciple are good as well.

"No sissy stuff" rules out Clannad--which is a shame, because it features some of the best dialogue and character relationships in anime in years. Surprisingly, it also features some of the best humor.

Shakugan no Shana Second is another favorite of mine, though it features more interpersonal relationship development than action (which I enjoy, but understand many people don't).

Hayate no Gotoku is a nice, light-hearted series with the occasional fight. There's an underlying love story, but it's the comedy that takes center stage.

What I saw of Gurren Lagann seemed to match your qualifications. Too bad it was recently licensed.

In the end, it may be difficult to find a series with a lot of action that doesn't extend fights over the course of several episodes (a dread disease known as Narutism(TM)).

To be honest, with the exception of a few diamonds in the rough, the last few seasons of anime has been pretty weak, in terms of story quality. I haven't seen a series on the same level as Mai HiME or Read or Die TV for quite some time now.

EDIT: I'll second Kidan's recommendation of Dennou Coil, even though I've only seen two episodes. I keep waiting for a batch torrent, but I'll probably break down soon and download all 26 episodes individually.

I only watched the first episode of Gundam 00 as my tastes in mecha series tend to be atypical (Neon Genesis Evangelion and Martian Successor Nadesico were the first two mecha series I watched).

Tek - I'm hoping someone will drop out a batch as well. The last six episodes I wasn't able to watch as they just came down as sound. And would we really call that disease Narutism when it was learned from Dragonball and its penchant for 5 episodes worth of powering up scenes, followed by a single blast to destroy the bad guy....
Anyways, on with the recommendations..

Heroic Age
may also meet your requirements. I only watched the first few episodes so I can't guarantee how great of a story it was.

Surprisingly, Sky Girls, was also a good show. I found it light-hearted and fun.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is pretty good if you enjoy being driven mentally insane, the movies are even worst by far. Most disturbing series I think i've ever seen...

So far Ayakashi seems to be building up to lots of good action, it's a little weird though. Kinda makes me think of the Blue Dragon game (stress on kinda)but I've only seen two episodes so I don't know.

And for the record, I like Dragonball.

AND as far as Naruto goes, the manga wins.

Unfortunately, Ayakashi has been removed from AnimeSuki, so it might be difficult to come by episodes.

blackgravity speaks truth.

I need to start reading the manga again.

I want to see how things fall out after Sasuke "turns" evil ("turns" in quote since I think he was evil all along).

I watched Evangelion about 10 years ago and I still haven't decided if I liked it or not. It was my first anime series and proved the gap between Western and Eastern animation and storytelling. This series is not for children.

The only series that has approached the psychological damage of Evangelion's characters is Welcome to the NHK (again, not for children).

True, but I can't bring myself to watch Dragonball. The only way to watch it free is on Cartoon Network and I can't stand to watch anything dubbed (with the exception of Cowboy Bebop).

Heroic Age[/B] may also meet your requirements. I only watched the first few episodes so I can't guarantee how great of a story it was.
And there's a batch torrent on AnimeSuki that's fairly fresh. How handy!

Really? Hm. I might have to give it another try.
