The Deep - Need help

Is there any chance that I could get some help in this area. I've been trying to get into The Deep for a few weeks now. Ever since they added the cool new weapons to the chests.

I've never been in the deep before and so I cannot get into a group. Apparently the groups there do everything in a certain order with a very specific build and if you don't already know the route ahead of time, you're not welcome in any group.

I've been trying to get into groups with my warrior and continually cussed out. I asked several times how someone who's never been in The Deep before is supposed to learn it, but always get the answer "go with your guild or leave, NOOOB!!!!!"

So, I tried asking on alliance chat for help but usually got no response or "Whats the deep?", "oh I don't own factions" for answers.

So is there any chance someone could teach me this mission. I really want to explore it but can't. One nice gentleman on guru offered to take me, but unfortunately he lives in England and so he's asleep by the time I'm ready to play.
 
:( i havent been in The Deep either. Sorry to hear that people arnt being nice. Maybe for a guild outreach night we could take some noobs into it that want too so they can learn. But that doesnt really help your delema. Unfortunatly i cant help you either. I havent gotten to The Deep, i think... but when i can get on GW again i will see if i can help you if you have not already. Does anyone know about The Deep? is there a Shallow? :p
 
Raven this would be a great opportunity for a PvE guild event. We would need 12 people to fill a full party. This would be a great way for us to experiment on our own and figure out how it is to be done through trial and error. I do warn you, like Urgoz's Warren, The Deep is a long time commitment. I've never played The Deep but I have played Urgoz's Warren many times. However I've only ever had one successful group there and that took us around 4 hours to complete. The elite missions are long endeavors but the rewards are nice and they can be a lot of fun to play. There are definitely some builds that work much better than others but there are also core skills that need to be taken into account. For example, no monk should enter the Warren without Aegis. Party wide skills like this are extremely useful in combating the high amount of mobs and damage being thrown around.

I would totally be up for it, I have an MM, Nuker, Monk, and Tank that i would be more than willing to do an early event in... to a point... 7 MST... so 9 eastern is about the earliest and NOT Friday night.
 
yeah, i'd like to come, but i don't think i'll have that long to play in one sitting... the only char i've got that far is my tank, but i'm trying to get my necro a little further in :Factions, we'll see if she makes it that far in the near future.

All you need is factions, no progress within the map is needed as far as I can recall. Someone already mapped into The Deep can warp to guild hall, group with you, then click "leave guild hall" button and rewarp back with you to The Deep.

Actually that only works if the person has already been to The Deep at least once. I tried it after the free access weekend and couldn't ferry any guildies that way.

I really just want to see the place. I can't get a group. I don't care if you only have a half hour or an hour to spend. I just want some experience in the mission so that I can find pugs more easily. Even if you have to leave after a few minutes, I can keep your heroes with me and journey onwards.
 
I don't have any experience in the Deep but have Saturday free and would be happy to explore it with you. Would Sat work for you Raven? and if so what time?
