Be thankful you are not a priest who has been nerfed patch after patch after patch.

The last patch 2.0.10 was monster hit to priest healing with Prayer of Mending going from 1.5 second cooldown to 20 second (That didn't start until the first proc), then 15 seconds then settled at 10 seconds. Then they fixed it so the cooldown started after you cast it, not when it procced.

The outcry was so bad that they gave us a buff. A 33% mana cost reduction on a talent less then 1% of the priests actually spec for. The next day, that went down to a 30% mana reduction and finally settled on a 25% mana cost reduction. Even our buff got nerfed. And we all now that a buff to talent that nobody uses is no buff at all.
 
yea, I'm not liking this patch too much either.

shamans are getting nerfed...again.

100% mana reduction to 60% on clearcasting really kinda sucks. And they're changing the windfury thing.

And they're not really giving us anything again.

makes me sad.
 
You had to know that once allies got Shamans and horde got Pallies, they'd both be nerfed now with both side complaining about how overpowered they are.
 
Overall, paladins actually got some pretty nice buffs :P

Retribution and Protection were both buffed, while Holy got gimped.

I have tried to find a priest who uses circle of healing, I can't. I don't use it. Blizzard seems intent on making us use it rather than giving us a talent that is actually useful. Remember when Holy Nova was our 31 point talent? What in the world is going on here? WHy did Blizzard decide to beat down Holy Priests so badly?

As a Holy Priest farming and solo PvE sucks and the most healing you get to do in BGs are when you are dead and in Spirit form. You sacrifice so much to be a Holy Priest and we keep getting nothing! How stupid.
 
I changed to 41 holy taking both CoH and Lightwell and I'm going to give it a decent shot. I've been keeping a journal on the forums under Class guides - Lightwell FAQ.

I took it into some Alterac Valleys last night as well.
 
Holy Priests are clearly not geared for PvP, on a whole in my experience Pally's and druids are much better BG healers as they much much better defenses when attacked. Cloth = dead. For a whole Holy Priests are limited to instance healing. I personally don't like to heal which I do a much better job at healing in Shadowform vs. holy spec. A 4 sec delay due to dial-up can be the difference between a tank dying and a group wiping whereas in Shadow even if i'm not doing anything for 4 seconds my SW:Pain and Vampiric Touch are Hooray for two DoT's for priests now. In 4 seconds I can still do a lot of damage as SW:P ticks for around 560 and VT for around 450(i think thats right). So I'm still doing damage & healing even when I'm not.
 
I didn't notice this until know...priests and warlocks, you may want to move your toons to a PvE server:

* Chance to break crowd control from damage: The increased chance for a spell to break from taking a critical strike has been removed. Instead, all targets over level 60 have a slightly larger chance to break out of crowd-controlling effects when they take damage.

If you rely on fear to get some distance between you and a rogue or warrior or shaman or a hunters pet so you can cast at least one damage spell, thats all you get.
 
if a lock has a fel guard (because they have the 3 sec charge stun) they can kick some butt, other than that, hope you get you dots on b4 i charge you because when i get on you, you're gone...when I'm not prot spec of coarse ...i can't PVP worth a darn in prot spec.
 
I like my affliction lock, 2 insta cast fears and so much DOT output, I have taken out a few melee horde 66-68 and I am only 62 on the warlock hehe. fear breaking early sucks though, already bad enough with all the undead out there that can break it:(

Doesn't mater if I get a dot up on you, it ticks away at 100dps at best.

I used Lightwell for a little while, I tried to make it work, but it is just a pathetic spell, it really is. And I wanted to like it.
 
well they arent removing it, imp sap will increase the range of sap and blind and reduce the energy cost. but I would still hope they refund the talent points since it will change how many people use it
