Subtracting Dates

Aye,

I need to find the amount of days between two dates at work, but I'm not sure how to do it (other than counting one by one). Is there a way to subract days in Microsoft Excel?

Example: 8/15/2000 to 2/7/2007

There are 2,368 days between those dates, including 2/7. Here's a calculator:

I'm not sure how to do it in Excel.

I could write a C++ program to do it, but I have no idea in Excel. No bother though, SirThom gave you the easiest and best solution.

Might I be curious and ask what you need the number of days for?

It's for a corrosion test. We're determining levels of corrosion verses the length of time the vehicle was in exposure.
